After completing the acquisition of eight bingo clubs from Majestic Bingo, Real Fun Group now owns ten clubs located across Wales and England. This action will be anticipated to help secure 140 jobs.

On July 7, 023, Majestic Bingo underwent an administration through the joint administration of Chris Pole and Tim Bateson from Interpath Advisory. As a result of this acquisition, it has been said that 140 employees  will have their jobs secured. Now, Real Fun Group will have about 200 employees diversified across its bingo locations around the country.  With this agreement, Real Fun Group intends to further establish itself in the industry with the aim to become one of the biggest independent bingo operators in the UK.

Kevin McGinnigle, the CEO of Real Fun Group declared: “I’m incredibly excited by this opportunity. This was a well-run business that was hit with devastating luck over the last few years, and I can’t wait to work with the team. To sit here today, knowing we’re able to keep so many people at work is an unbelievable feeling.”

“Undoubtedly there is a lot of work ahead of us and I’m confident we’ve got the right people within the business to make this a huge success for everyone concerned. Coming from a family of bingo players, I’m aware of the role that local bingo clubs play in their community and to get the opportunity to keep these historic clubs open for our customers is just fantastic.”

Recently, Mecca Bingo was revealed as the main sponsor of ITV’s panel show, Loose Women, in other bingo news. Meanwhile, CEO of the Bingo Association Miles Baron just delivered a speech at the Huddle earlier this year.
