PressEnter Group proudly announces the elevation of Hampus Eriksson to the esteemed position of Deputy CEO, marking a strategic move to propel the company toward greater heights.

Eriksson, formerly the Chief Product Officer (CPO), expressed his exhilaration at the internal promotion, stating, “I’m thrilled to have been promoted to the role of Deputy CEO and look forward to working alongside other company executives to lead this organisation to the greatness I know it can achieve.”

During his tenure as CPO, spanning a commendable two years, Eriksson played a vital role in revitalizing the company’s operational processes and enhancing its product capabilities. His leadership led the charge in expanding the company’s brand, XLBet, into burgeoning markets such as Romania and Ontario.

Ontario, in particular, garnered attention as a fiercely competitive market post the 2022 online gaming regulatory changes, witnessing a surge in operator launches. Further insights into this dynamic market are set to be unveiled in Gaming America’s upcoming January/February issue.

In his new position as Deputy CEO, Eriksson retains his CPO responsibilities while inheriting an expanded scope and being entrusted with steering PressEnter Group toward achieving its ambitious 2024 objectives. These targets have been crafted in the wake of the company’s management buyout in November 2022, delineating a strategic roadmap for sustained long-term growth.

Commenting on the company’s management buyout, Eriksson remarked, “Following the management buyout, the company is in a much stronger position with the foundations in place to deploy smart, effective strategies for growth.”

Lahcene Merzoug, CEO of PressEnter Group, commended Eriksson’s outstanding contributions, stating, “Hampus has achieved great things since joining PressEnter Group and this promotion is a reward for his hard work. I have worked with Hampus for more than ten years. He is a highly experienced executive and product specialist. I am confident that we will continue to progress at pace over the months ahead.”

Eriksson’s ascent to the role of Deputy CEO signals a strategic step forward for PressEnter Group, underscoring the company’s commitment to strategic evolution and continued excellence under Eriksson’s adept leadership.
